Garlic cultivated in the Grand North is scarce thus sells
at high prices. The garlic that has a unique taste is seen
in little quantities in markets like Sandaga and Central
Market. A bag, if available, Njoya Alexandre, a vendor
at the Sandaga Market said, will sell at FCFA 100,000.
