The Douala Autonomous port increased its profit fivefold in 2018. According to the port’s board of directors, by December 31, 2018, the port’s net pre-tax profit was FCFA 3.9 billion and net-profit FCFA 2.04 billion. This is about five times higher than the FCFA 455.5 million realised in 2017.
