The government has announced a FCFA 2 billion bailout fund to support the local tomato sector seriously affected by the closure of borders as part of the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. The information to revive the sector was made known during a video conference meeting of the inter-ministerial committee charged for the follow-up and monitoring the implementation of the government response strategy against Covid-19 that held recently chaired by the Prime Minister.
