Fight Against Money Laundry: BEAC To Put In Place IT Solution

The Bank of the Central African States (BEAC) is poised to fight against capital flight, money laundry and financing of terrorism in the Central Africa sub-region. This this effect, the Central Bank wants to acquire, set up and implement an IT solution for filtering and tracing financial flows in the CEMAC as part of the fight against the capital flight, financing of terrorism and its proliferation. This falls within the framework of the bank’s statutory missions of promoting payment system, regulations and good functioning. On this premise, the bank has launched an international tender for interested firms to submit for the supply of the IT solutions on or before November 6, 2020.
