Trans-border Trade: Kye-Ossi To Host Sub-regional Fair

The 9th edition of the annual trans-border Central Africa trade fair dubbed FOTRAC has been slated for August 19 to 29, 2021 in the Cameroonian town of Kye-Ossi, located at the borders with Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. This year’s event will hold on the theme “Boosting intra-regional trade for peace, socio-economic and cultural development of Africa despite the Covid-19. According to the Promoter of the fair, Danielle Nlate, the opening ceremony will be chaired by Cameroon’s Minister of Trade in the presence of some sub-regional dignitaries from participating countries and institutions. In prelude to the event, visits to artisanal centres in Yaounde and tourist attractions by delegates have been billed for August 18 and B2B meetings between handicraft entrepreneurs of Cameroon and their counterparts from West Africa amongst other conferences and exhibitions.
