A new product dubbed ‘World Cola is already being advertised by the Société Anonyme des Brasseries du Cameroun (SABC) Group, as it announced the cessation of all activity with the giant, The Coca-Cola Company.

F rom July 1, 2022, Cameroon’s leading Brewery Company, Société Anonyme des Brasseries du Cameroun (SABC) will stop the production, communication, commercialization, and distribution of Coke products which includes Coca-Cola, cola Zero, Fanta and Sprite). The decision by SABC comes 59 years after the subsidiary of the Castel Group in Cameroon has produced, commercialized and communicated on the products of the Coca-Cola Company in the country. While reassuring the public that the termination of the agedold contract occurs by mutual agreement between the two entities, the management of SABC expressed gratitude to The Coca-Cola Company for the trust it bestowed on it during these long years. “After 59 years, the partnership between SABC and The Coca-Cola Company is coming to an end by mutual agreement. The SABC Group thanks The Coca-Cola Company for all these years of collaboration,” the press release indicated. In addition, the SABC Group reassures its customers of its commitments to provide them with better quality products at the best price while ensuring a permanent distribution network and bottling that respects the environment. Thus, the SABC Group presented its commercial strategy which is, among other things, that of ensuring quality in all its forms, in compliance with the international and national standards reinforced by the Group’s certification (ISO 9001 2015, FSSC 22000, NC... ).
