How does this system function? First of all, this system creates convenience. We have unstable grid due to less supply of ener gy from generation plants and transmission losses. What is supplied to every installation is sometimes not adequate for the loads to be active. We have sensitive loads within our ins tallations and these sensitive loads depend on the voltage. So, when the voltage fluctuates, some of the loads gets damaged. And this damage load costs finances in replacing them. So, incorporating the system to our installation helps minimize those cases. This is because it manages the installation at those scenarios. What is the cost of having this system installed in an apartment? The total cost for implementing this prototype is FCFA 76 500. The prototype is de signed for academic, idea realization, and testing purposed, so it is made up of low power switching devices which re ceive signals from the controller. The controller which we have here is an ESP32 microcontroller and it is a small. To design this system for final use, for example a five-bedroom apart ment, we need higher current switching de vices.
