CRTV: Driving Digital Growth and Audience Engagement

The Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) has concluded its two-day brainstorming forum, this July 22nd, charting a strategic roadmap to modernize public broadcasting and secure financial stability.

C onvened under the the­ me «Reinventing Public Media for Audience Enga­ gement, Digital Impact, and Financial Sustainability,» the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) ends its two-day Program Fo­ rum today, July 22, 2026, at the Radio House in Yaoundé. The high-level gathering brought to­ gether the corporation’s edito­ rial, technical, and management teams alongside academics and external media professionals to thoroughly overhaul the public broadcaster’s content strategy across television, radio, and digital platforms. Highlighting the vision behind the initiative, CRTV’s Director General, Charles Ndongo emphasized in a press release regarding the goals of the session, the urgent need to align the national broadcaster with modern audience expecta­ tions and digital realities. «This two day reflection aims to bring CRTV’s programs closer to its audience, consolidate our roots in Cameroonian identity, and better meet the expectations of the diaspora, while making our content more competitive on radio, television and digital platforms».
